Hello, I've been lurking on here a while and love reading the builds and other tech advice. My father owned an engine and machine shop for years and we've been mostly into drag racing. However in the last few years we've moved more into restoring and building cars. I'm not brand conscious or style conscious if it's cool it's cool. We just enjoy working on them. I'm currently working on a 62 Ford F100 to use as my going to work vehicle. Front drop spindle, flipped rears, and a 352 FE. Just last week I came across a deal for several model A's so I've got plans for a sedan build in the near future as well. Here is the Nova drag car I finished last year along with my 63 Belvedere, and a couple of the model a's we picked up and my sons stroller. Rick Ryan
Welcome Ryan. There's some other dude on here named Ryan too. I think he's a car guy to so you will fit in. Stop lurking and start enjoying the threads.
Aberdeen? I used to race motocross up there in '86, '87, and '88. I've been away for 20+ yrs. now. Would love to get back to SD, but the job over here is still payin' the bills, if you know what I mean.
Welcomb to the HAMB from another old South Dakota boy. I grew up in Emery, moved away way back in 1974. Parents are still in Emery, sister in Spearfish, and a host of relatives scattered all around the state. I'd go back in a heartbeat but my wife is kinda stuck on Kansas City. And she bought me a 64 Dodge Model 440 two door hardtop once for Christmas, so I'm not gonna force her to do anything she doesn't want to do.......
