    Hi everyone
Well after waiting and looking for 30 years I finally found one I could actually afford.
I found it approximately 2 weeks ago sitting beside the guys house about 50 yards or so. it was maybe 100 yards from a 2 lane fairly well traveled road outside a small town near Ft Worth Texas. I had actually drove out there to pick up some plate steel for my 23 when I saw it. the sun gklinting off the windshield caught my attention and to my amazement I couldn's believe what it was. I hit the ditch stopping my truck and sat there and looked for a minute.
Went and picked up my steel plates another mile down the road then decided to stop and inquire on the way back. sure glad I did! It was for sale and had yet to be advertised. I got to take a closer look at it and it turned out to be an all steel 1932 five window with a BBC 396 in it. Made a few calls to the owner and agreed on a price. I couldnt believe it. It's in my garage and I still can't believe it.
It's basicly all there just needs a very good cleaning and fix a few mistakes made by others over the years.
It is a 396 with a turbo 400 and 12 bolt chevy rear. Has a rumble seat and the rear window still rolls up and down. Unfortunately the transmission is junk, and it's missing a driveshaft...pretty easy stuff.
    anyways here are the pics.......
feel free to comment I would love to hear what everyone thinks

What a score. :) With a few changes to make it your own it will end up being a really nice hot rod, I bet. I love 396's.

    Keep us posted.

Congrats!! It looks great. Pitch the auto trans and put in a 3rd pedal to transform it into a real hot rod. :)

I think you should be ashamed to have it on your property. I mean really, look at those wheels, that air cleaner. And it doesn't move? What in the world posessed you to buy it? Has the world gone mad? I'll come and get that wreck outta there for you right away. Just shoot me some directions and I'll empty the rig and head out. I can't let a HAMB brutha suffer the indignity...

    Hi everyone
Thanks for all the responses.....you guys been busy while I was snoozin. What ya'll don't like the "welcome to the 90's eagle alloys"? I got a kick out of those myself when I saw them....that and the lovely gaudy purple suspension!
As far as what am I gonna do to it....actually i am still in disbelief it's in my garage.
The grill shell is what threw me when I first saw it....I didnt think it was a 32

It has a few "needed" fixes....it has apparently led a hard life as a full time drag warrior.....from what i can see from the quick once over the rear suspension is hokey at best...a coil spring shoved on top of the axle resting into a piece of u channel welded to the frame on each side.
The rear shocks looks to me to be in the correct place tho so coil overs will fit the bill
transmission mount looks like it will hold about as well as a wet noodle.
the floor is a wonderful combination of wood and glass matte
headlight mounts look to be from an old jack handle
Someone put about 1000 pop rivets putting a piece of sheetmetal over the roof hole
As far as ID'ing the frame I'm sorry but I don't know what to look for
(gimme a break. I am a musclecar guy)
The frame to me at first glance looks to be original unboxed

The good stuff is that there is not a TON of rust a bit here and there but nothing I can't take care of
ALOT of the wood inside is actually still intact
We got it at a killer deal so the "boss" said i could actually keep it if I wanted and keep my camaro too
I would be interested to hear what some of you guys would do?
I definately know I don't plan on spending 100,000 on it but would like a nice real hotrod
I am blessed enough to have a pretty well outfitted garage that can handle most chores and a VERY understanding other half
This seems like a great place
    Thanks again

Great find, just shows they are still out there. Every once in a while riding through my neighborhood where I have lived most of my 58 yrs, a garage will open and there is something sitting in there that hasn't seen the light of day for years. A friend of mine who is on here as well, just found a Model A 4 dr about 5 blocks from me, he called me to take a look at it before he bought it and the guy had 5 others, 2drs, trucks, and a Coupe, not visible from the street and we are talking in a development wih property's of 100x 140 or so not farms etc,You never know
