looking for upolstery shop in no Il or so WI

I am almost to the point of getting some interior done in my custom project. I have the seats done already but need to get the headliner and the door panels covered. Do any of you guys have any experiences with upolstery shops in No IL or So WI? Pics and comments of experience would be greatly helpful in my search.

Vic's Auto Upholstery here in Madison, WI does nicely detailed work. Vic's the son of an old time died in the wool Kustom fanatic and they've been turning out nice custom interiors for a very long time.

custom cl***ics upholstery in hales corners, wi. check out the pics of my 38 chev in my profile. Mike did a great job, just how i wanted it to look and the price was very fair.

 

Ogden is expensive (they quoted me about $500 just to install a pre-made vinyl headliner in my '59). Go with a HAMBer! Talk to OldCarMike in Aurora. He does fantastic work.

I believe they are in waukegan but i heard they are opening another shop in possible round lake.

These guys are great. They did a lowrider bike seat for me about 20 years ago but they do amazing Rod and custom work.

That being said Mike did a stellar job on Joe's seats

 

There is also Perfection Auto Trim in Milwaukee and Erickson in Racine.

 

I would contact Ken at Ken's Hot Rods in Rockford, IL. GREAT GUY and they do GREAT work which I have found to be very reasonable. (815) 874-1811

 

Vic's Auto Upholstry in Madison, WI for sure! He will not stop until you are 100% satisfied with the job. His customer service is incredible, he uses great material and is a great craftsman.
He did my Model A and I would go back in a heartbeat. Having never had upholstery work performed on a hot rod before I shopped around. Vic's was by far the best shop I visited. Very glad I chose him.

 

Mike was unresponsive to all my communication efforts a few years back.
