he is looking for the steel channel that you place the gl*** run channel in. This way the channel is supported as the window goes down. I have been looking for it and cannot find it. I used to get it from a supplier and he is gone
If you can't find it why don't you just try and get some small square tubing and get a cut off wheel and just cut out one side. A lot of work but if you can't find it maybe just a thought...... My 2 cents......
agree that this is an option, just hoping someone has better options. One of my faults is I like to use the credit card to save time. Thanks, sounds like I am not the only one.
Last time I wanted some, I just took a piece of the felt gl*** run channel down to the local rod shop and he bent up a couple of 20ga channels to fit while I waited.
Also looking for a better option. Time is money, prefer to buy the easy stuff and fabricate what I cannot buy
I'm looking for piece of this now. I'd like the kind with the little stainless steel edge - any idea's where to get it? I've checked with Mac's and Snyder's
Tell them the car that you are working on and they will know what you need. I asked for some that goes into the vent window up right. I told them wrong size. They gave me a new piece after I cut it to length....no charge. They have been supplying the hobby for over 30 years.
