Frog Follies Evansville Indiana

Was just wondering if any other HAMB members were going to be at the FROG Follies in Evansville Indiana next Friday- Sunday August 26-28th?
One of the few runs left in the country where its actually affordable and all proceeds go to charity.

Yeah, i'll be there.....the HAMB drags wasn't in the cards for this year....

 

is there any motel rooms left? i never been but would like to go

 

There probably is on the outskirts of town but I wouldn't think so of any real close to the grounds. The swap meet is always worth the trip...it is huge.

I'll be there. We are coming over on Thursday and should arrive about 1:00-1:30pm. We stay at the Super 8 just as you turn on to US 41 from US 64(by the 60's style Dennys). I drive a dark gray primer 48 chev pickup-real low with Halibrands. I'll be running with a black 32 5-window, a red 32 3-window and a green primer 39 chev. sedan. If you miss us at the motel Thursday night(we'll be partying in the parkinglot), we always park at the top of the hill in the shade just off the pavement on the restroom end of the registration building. I'll be leaving between 5:00-5:30 Friday evening to drive to the HAMB drags. Hope I get to meet you. Sam

 

I'll be there as a vendor. In the north open shelter,next to the small block restrooms. I will be on the southeast corner of that building. I'm the guy that always has the beep horns.

 

Crestliner, I visited with you last year. I'll stop by and say hi. Sam

 

If any ones going from western Michigan it would help me out big time if you could lug a 59 chevy dash that im buying from crestliner.

Ill get there on thursday around noon maybe? With my blue 32. Leaving around 6 on friday to go home then going to the drags on saturday.

Max, ill swing by the fairgrounds and help you set up if you arent done by the time i get there.

One of the best shows I have been to in quite a while. Even the cops looked happy to see us. Its a Shame that it is 12 hrs from home. Not gonna make it this year. Jay

Glad to hear so many are going. We always set 2 tents up (one red one blue) past the pond on the back gr*** lot across from the swap meet. We stayat the Drury Inn on the main drag next to JOJO's Looking forward to meeting some of ya'll! if not all. We will be there aroind Noon on Friday and stay through Sunday.48 Poncho

 

I will be there on friday to sunday also. I usually park by the play ground (makes the kids happy) near the entrance. I have gone to this event several times and love it. This will be the first time I bring a traditional car though. Usually I am in a street rod. The swapmeet is worth the trip alone. Hope to see some of you there....

 

hey i'll be there sat am. was planing to drive my truck this time but got layed-off in june so no money to buy parts to finish it,so i'm trying to get the cheap stuff. hey sam you guys got room for me on sat. nite ? to sleep over if not i'll drive back sat.nite no biggie thought if not see you there bigdoug

Not to my knowledge. The guys I know go to the Frog Follies. They aren't in to the traditional stuff. Sam
