Can you imagine what that thing weighs? A sack of pennies weighs a lot and that took a lot more than a sack full.

  8. Art cars (not to be confused with Art Carr! :D ). See 'em all the time around Seattle. Fremont neighborhood has a ton. In college, a guy had an old Buick that he tried to grow grass on.

  18. My brother is doing a documentary on "Car Art" and is traveling around the world for this film. (He's filming at "Burning Man" this month)

I guess this car would be a candidate..., or is it just Cents-less...!!!

That thing would need one hell of a hood spring. My luck the guy would offer me a ride and I would close the door and they would all fall off of the passenger side. It will look really cool in a few years when the pennys start to turn green.

Do the new pennys even turn green like the old ones did?

Dude, an old Buick that grew pot, is a totally utilitarian vehicle. :)

The lawn car seems to be the most overdone scheme in art cars. Hey I dig a lot of them, art cars that is. Some have people real ingenuity and original thought into them. Then again some people don't - I'm sick of seeing multicolored puzzle piece cars

I was thinking he should've arranged them so the tarnished ones were together, and the brand new shiny ones were together, with the slightly tarninshed ones in between for that Winfield fade job look.

I think it would look better with Barbie doll heads hot glued all over it.

The sad thing is these "Art cars" get more news and magazine print than "real" custom cars do and inevitibly the writer will steal terms like "customized" from "our" vocabulary to describe these sick-fuck ugly pieces of shit.

at least it's a four door...should have used an 80's Fairmont or Imperial K car

I don't know why I said more than "Please close this thread" I apologize.
