Got this at a swap meet a few years ago to make a car show trophy.

    It has not worked out.

Does anyone know a possible year time frame or manufacturer?

I had one very similiar to that a few years back. Mine had a business card glassed into the underside. I think it was Ai or A&A? Can't remember exactly, but Ai seems correct.

Interestingly enough, the guy I sold mine to was going to use it on his tribute to the Bill Kraft Marlin, said it was the exact same piece as was used on the original.

Your's doesn't appear homemade to me, as few home builders I know of use chopper glass instead of sheets. Yours does look badly weathered though, as the gel coat is gone.

  6. AI and it stood for Anderson Industries.
