About to have the interior installed in my 54. When we get to the headliner how do you tuck up the sides above the door? Interior guy told me you use "alligator jaws." I called a couple places and they all said that they aren't being reproduced. I dont think you could get it tight enough with glue. What are my options?

I have all the bows already

If you are missing the original metal teeth thingies, you can make a small piece out of thin wood that screws on over each door to cover the edges. The wood is covered in the same material as the headliner (off-white vinyl in my case).
That's what my interior guy did because I somehow lost mine. I do not know if the screws go into the metal frame of the top or if he glued some wood in there, but there are three screws holding each piece on.

Thanks for the info. I did some calling around and everyone said it was a salvage only item. Called Owens salvage in Wellington,TX and they had them in stock! Got lucky with this one.
