I've recently bought a Model A coupe off the wonderful Craigslist here in Cincinnati. (germantown to be exact) .. When i first looked at it and talked with the guy. he said he owned it for a few years and bought it off a guy that had owned it for 30-35 years and lived in LONDON, OHIO. Which is near Columbus. It has apparently been in the same condition the entire time the previous owner had it. I asked him if he still had the guys name or ANYTHING that could help me out with this and i havent heard back. So i thought id see if you guys could help.

it was listed as a '31 coupe. was on a partially box Model A Frame. had a SBF and auto trans and a ford 8" rearend. home made ladder bars and a 4 bar front end.

The car has been chopped 4" and was done with lead.. and also the visor was leaded smooth to the rest of the roof. The car was channeled pretty heavy at some point, the sub floor is all cup up along with the rear wheel wells.

It had also came with a Chopped '32 henry grill shell and insert. The top was filled with lead and it was chopped 2ish inches. and in VERY good condition.

The car its self was sand blasted and primered at somepoint. But there is traces of blue in a few spots. Its the SAME blue that the duece grill shell was. Its a laquor blue flake. It had some pin striping on the top of the shell, which is now gone. (guy that owned after i looked at it primered it)

And lastly, the rear panel under the deck lid had square lights beat into it.. the panel was pretty dented/creased up so someone put a piece of galvanized steel over it..

I know this is a little long, But im giving all the details i can to help here.

    THANK YOU GUYS!

    -John

  5. Looks like it could of had Mustang taillights. 40 years ago a blue fenderless 30/31 coupe use to run around the Cumberland Maryland area. It had Mustang taillights.

Still looking.. got a email some months back saying a guy and his buddy pulled it out of a barn in Virginia some years ago but scrapped it because it didn't have a title. Doubt there's any truth. Think he was trying to buy it
