    High school cool? does that involve a high school budget? If it does I think a modified would be a good road for that car. They can be built for real cheap. But thats just my opinion, I am a little biased because Im really itching to get one right now.

    Hell, I'd go down to Pull-and-Save in Denver and find an engine. They always have a bunch of Mopars, you should be able to find a good 318 or 360 out of a truck. And it seems about once every couple of months they have their $99/engine special.

    Here is Chris' (in our Nevada chapter) Hemi powered 24 roadster....

    Hope this gives you some good ideas.....personally I would leave the top on and chop the hell out of it.

    with mine am making a frame from some bare rails i found at my dads with maro front sub & rear dont care if thats not vintage i want to drive this daily & fast its my only speed chev sb 400& pg & 331 pois rear bodys going to get a lot of mods 6-8 chop pass door welded shut drivers turned sucide interior is my wifes project so will be animal print fur with black leather & spikes will have chrome slots with white wall slicks on rear & white wall radels on front still looking for a grill want a 38-39 ford truck one but how i am figgering should have done by spring with bout 3K invested

    the way your thinking will look killer if you need a roof back i have one that came with mine an extra mines dented but i plan on pounding it out & by way Big Daddy is my fave builder also stilll dreaming of getting one of them repo "outlaw" bodys to build a Tbucket from.....

    "Resurection" sounds good, interior = simple(KISS) in red,white or black.....rear suspension anything you can set up again KISS is the way to go. Exhaust = use the manifolds or a set of cheap block huggers if you want to keep em inside the frame, fenderwell headers were made for some smallblock Mopars or.........

  17. bring your pickup down to the paint and primer show next weekend I'll DONATE a running '48 Plymouth flathead six and three speed to your project. It's up to you to find a '37ish plymouth or dodge double drop tube axle with parallel leafs for the front, an 8 3/4 rear and other kool Mopar shit for it. Try to find an old A100 steering box- drag link type like an F1.

  23. Chrome-- don't know if you got my PM, paint n primer ain't a swap, it's a BBQ/show, sunday the 4th, Metcalf park, Fountain, Colo. pretty much all day. It's intended to be for the greasy old school, whitewall type rides, there will be a few HAMBers there. Come on down an' bring yer parts hauler.
