Customs Any update Fritz found '57 Chevy Custom

I just found this. It is probably a total repost, but I am just wondering if it is currently being restored. I almost cried when I saw it in this condition. Any updates?

As far as I am aware its in mothballs, I have him for a friend on FB and have never seen any reference to it getting worked on...

 

I'm pretty sure Fritz had decided to let it go the last I heard of it. Very cool car if it ever does get resurrected....

 

I don't think Fritz is working on it at the moment. When I talked to him at KKOA, he said that he was just getting back on his fiberglass body show rod after being focused on some customer projects.

 

I just wondered if anybody is working on it? Does Fritz still even own it? Or is there a new owner? Thanks guys!

 

this is the problem more times than not these old finds get kicked around they are a ton of work and money not for the light hearted there should be a museum for the old found unrestored customs

 

last time I saw that car it was in Plowboys barn in Illinois......

 

Fritz still has "my" car. My Uncle built it in 1960. I am in direct contact with Fritz and someday i will own that car, lol. Workin on gettin some info on it for him. If anyone has any pictures of the car, other than what was found in the car mags, gimme a shout,illpay.
