Awhile ago I picked up this NOS fuel pump from an estate sale....A few years ago I ran the numbers and hit the interchange manuals and the closest thing that I could come to identifying it was a late 40's Buick (though my memory is foggy it may have been a late 40's caddy).....

(unfortunatly I neglected to bring the numbers with me but when I get back home I'll update the thread)

I aint gonna lie....I have such a little amount of money in it I was going to identify it and flip it for profit.....now....I dont care at this point I want to satisfy my curiosity for what the hell it is, then give it away to whomever needs it (that special person does pick up the shipping)

Before all the guys get on me about the classifieds my pure intent is to find out what it is and hopefully thorugh that someone sees it and can use it.....I think it's cool as hell.....

    Behold, the unidentified fuel pump.

That looks similar to a pump that was on my 47 Chevy grain truck. Looks like a vacuum pump on the top for wipers?

Yes, the top is vacuum for something....but after some old timers and me combed through their manuals we found stuff that was like it but not an exact match.....curiosity has the best of me....it's been sitting on my curio shelf for three years and it needs to go to someone that can use it for something other than a bookend.
