    In the olden days, you painted a car a light color if it was to be raced at night at a strip, dark if you were street racing. Bright yellow.....black lettering.

    i have a dark blue 66! i vote dark blue Chevelles just look better in dark colors. and in pearls or candies or flakes it just enhances the lines.

    I'd shoot it with the brightest white you can find, and then have all the lettering done by hand, NO vynil.
