Been working on a 56 Chrys Windsor, which many of you have given great advice on getting it started and running (been out of service for 25 yrs!). Now it is running and on the road. However driving it up on a lift and giving it a good once over, I noticed the manifold heat control valve is frozen, the coil spring is broken and the rattle spring missing.

I have the service manual and it appears to be a very simple fix, but where can one find a kit that I can rebuild it?

PS...Attached is a the bill of sale (my uncle gave the car to me in 1975).

Your best bet will probably be to borrow the springs from a later model manifold. Chrysler used this setup on alot of cars for many years. Is your counterweight cast or stamped?
