The Wife and I spent a few hours running around in the '48 today participating in a poker run and ending at a bonfire/cook out. Was a beautiful late fall day, sunshine and 54 degrees. On the way home she talked me into driving up into a parking garage to snap some pictures. I thought they came out pretty good,so I thought I would post a few...... ....this last one was a picture that we both thought looked pretty cool even though it was an accident.......
Not usually a fan of fenderless late trucks but yours pulls it off, NICE truck, great pics. Add your truck to the (cool trucks thread) if you haven't already.
Great shots. I've been looking at bobbers lately and if I built one, it would follow your lead. Great looking truck!
Nice shots but damn that truck would look even better with fenders. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
I've heard it called many things, but "playing in the parking garage" takes it. I will have to use that one myself
Very nice. I think that's the first truck like yours I've seen complete and painted, it is beautiful.
I have to agree, You did what most guys can't seem to do when you built that truck and that is make it look right. Going that extra mile and doing it right really paid off. Great photos too.
This is the only fenderless 40's truck I've seen that actually pulled off a decent look. Usually they look like ****. Yep, very nice. well done.
The last time I played on a parking garage the security guard kicked me off. He had no sense of humor regarding flying paper airplanes off his garage. Really a nice truck!
Thanks for all the comments/compliments guys! Jalopy Joker: My wife only took a few pics of the other cars at the run. Most of them were late 60's muscle cars,or OT daily drivers. 31vicky with a hemi: Yes there is a build thread on my truck, here is the link: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=377164
Couldn't agree more. Its got an at***ude, its different and well done. Like the balance of shiny stuff, maybe a chrome grill if it were mine. Very cool truck! Dan
Those shots of the sky would be beautiful without the truck in them---no offense.... Nice truck, it always makes me smile when I see it at shows.
