Spotted one of those "Sock Abusers" today

Ga. 400 southbound.
32 coupe, chopped, grey primer, blown sbc, Sock Fuckers tag on the rear.

I was in the black 51 F1 following the gold Mustang. We were returning from a weekend at the Moonshine Festival in Dawsonville.

Thats one cool ride you've got, I like it.

 

This one? Russ[Tudor] on here. He's not afraid to beat on it either, ran 10's at reynolds RWYB earlier this year.

How was the Moonshine Festival this year?

 

Actually Russ is "Laydrag" on here and he owns that Chevelle with the nasty big block chev in it.

 

Thats the car, very cool ride, lucky I didn't have a wreck watching it instead of where I was going.

Moonshine Festival was pretty good on Saturday, too wet on Sunday with a much much smaller crowd and many less cars. Had a good time hanging out with friends and had a personal tour of the Elliot shop on Saturday, some neat shit in there even if your not into Nascar. My young friend Will works there and took us in and turned the lights on and showed us around.

 

That may be my last trip ever on I-285, no place for a low riding vehicle, ROUGH. Truck had the heaviest hits to the suspension it's ever had, 5 massive pothole hits between 400 and I-20 on the west side. They work on that road all the time, why can't they get it smooth, buncha dumbass people working for the DOT.
It'll take and extra hour to travel to that side of Atlanta on regular roads but thats better than destroying a wheel in one of those holes.

 

Sock Abusers is a new one . Usually we get Sock Folks, Sock Lovers, those Sockin' Idiots.
