There's another post about the same car that's floating around on here. My condolences to what used to be...

i dont see a problem... its basically a very complete and highly desirable sedan... just lose the redneck **** if it doesnt float your boat, fix the frame and call it a day.

ahh the type of project that can end a marriage or lower your neighbor's property values...

  9. With those stacks and tires you could ford rivers. Just seal the engine and ignition and give the intake a snorkle and you've got an amphibian!

    That is ****in' cool.

I think its cool, ether way buy it leave it like it is ( like he says it was built in 1947!! they all did not build Hot Rods I guess) or undo the truck parts and put it back stock and you have a "survivor".

not a thing wrong with it, for what it is.

that's a neat bit of history right there.

a guy could have something truely traditional to drive in the snow

Didn't HAMBer Marshall pick something up similar to that for a project recently? What would be really cool is if it had vintage 4x4 running gear.

that thing RULES. i don't know why i like it but i do. i think i'd like it less if i was told some hillbilly just built it but being from the 40s and being built out of necesity makes it realy cool. i'd have a ahrd time getting myself to change it at all if it was mine. it certainly seems to be one CHERRY *** body though.
