I hope this is at the correct place. My 64 F100 Custom Cab has some clips that hold the trim that need replaced on the cowl. How do you get to the back side to replace them? Thanks

Google search for the "Slick 60's" website forum. I am on there some, but dont know the answer to your question. There are guys on there that have totally dismantled and restored these trucks, and they would know. ;)

If it's like the 65, there are access holes through the hinge holes I think, it's been awhile

Take the vents out and reach waaaaaay up its a total bitch. I think the cowl trim pieces used the push in emblem style clips originally. I found some big push in receptacles at an auto body place and made the pins to fit them. I welded the studs I made to some of the clips that attach the bed trim after I cut off the threaded stud.

Push the trim on and your done

    Hope this helps
