Hello everyone . . . I have been here before and poked around for awhile and lost contact as I was still trying to get my head together and find time to start the project on my Merc.

Lost all files and pictures so had to start over.

I am finally starting the project and even though I have a overall concept on where I want to go with it . . the ideals are still clashing.

Just to refresh things . . . I have a 54 Merc which I got about ahhh . . many moons ago . . . and I managed to get it running for a few years, but it was in desperate need of an overhaul.

A few years LATER and I finally got the ball rolling.

The motor is OUT and the front end is apart. :)

    Any advise?

Anyone know what I can do with the motor . .

Anywho . . . Happy to be hear and post my progress, Learn some stuff and share the interest. ;)

    So Happy to be here

    Dee

    Welcome aboard and good luck!

Sounds like you need to find a nearby car club with helpful members.

Hard to come by around here. We are actually in a state of emergency = I was taking motor out while some parts of town were being evacuated. But thanks for the hospitality

I need all the luck I can get

Welcome and glad you guys up the coast are okay. I'd say it's time to stop playing around and get some work done on that car. Good luck staying dry and with your project.

Thanks - We got very lucky here on the island. It was the city that really got hit. Will try to keep the momentum going.
