Holley 94 Model 21-29

    I was wondering if you can run a Holley 94 Modle 21-29 on a flathed v-8 Ford 1950 2 door. Originally it has a Ford Model 8BA. Thanks for any advice....Jerry

    Not with the original distributor. You don't have the needed venturi vacuum on that. The later model 59 is the same problem. Good Luck: Fred A

    ...But then again, unless you are trying to be completely original, you should lose that dizzy anyway.
     
  5. You can swap the dist. for electronic and one with a mechanical advance rather than vacuum advance. I did it on our roadster with a '49 motor which had the vacc. advance.
