rear axle width

Hey guys
I need info about ideal rear axle width, I have my eye on a Maverick 8" and a Granada 8", one is 56 and one is 58" which would be the better one to get, i have not yet chosen wheels and tires, but do not want to be limited when I go to do so

 

Fit into what ?

Maybe you should get them both - what ever ONE you choose will be wrong and you'll need the other.
Boom! You'll already have it.

Then in a few months you can ask if a Nine inch would be better

 

Get the one with the 5 lug bolt pattern.
