    What kind of room do you have around the frame? That will make a determination on what kind of manifolds / headers you run. You also need to ensure that your Cam, intake will all work together for your application. Sounds like you are doing some research on your set up already. All I can say is ask question's on here, get to know local hot rodders (actual hot rodders who build their own stuff) check out the engine building books. Glad to see you decided to go with the 327 for the truck. All the old farts I know swear by it. Man I know I will catch **** for that.

    I have the same block in my car. You have a good start!

    Headers: i would go with full length. ******?
    Intake: I would run a Edelbrock Performer RPM (Part Number EDB 7101)
    Carb: Edelbrock 650cfm
    Cam: Comp Cam Part Number 12-246-3 Great Cam!
    Heads Dart Iron Eagle cast Iron Heads
    Great Combo! You will not be disappointed!

    Same for me in my '55. Good streetable combo, plenty of umph.
