Anybody actually have any pics of the Hellings and Stelling air cleaners with the helmeted cupolas being used back in the day? They're by far my favorite air cleaner I just cannot think of any cars that actually ran them.
I have one of these but I thought it was for a Dominator. I see yours has a little collar adaptor. Any chance of a better shot of that piece?
That is one beautiful looking scoop. It might have had a hole in the base large enough for the Dominator and then adaptors for smaller carbs like the 5 1/8 "late models".
Made this one last week for a Dodge pickup with a blower. Not very ***y but it looks good on the truck.
I have admired, and wanted one of Red Greth's original Speed Sport scoops for well over 45 years. Red graciously agreed to make one for me from his original mold, and here he is today about to autograph it for me at the CHRR. I am honored to own this piece of history.
Should have bought it. The last one on Ebay was $1500 BIN and sold in a day. I have one and wouldnt even think of selling for under a grand.
An old Cal Custom scoup with a twist... They say things are better ribbed I turned the risers out of billet to fit the small flange OEM AFB's. A good look for a 409
hi, i'm desperate in finding an item i need, do anyone out there has a set of tear drop air scoops ( need 3 ) that are for sale? i'm doing a multiple card job and want to finish the look with those air scoops.
here's my fancy moon disc air cleaner top with a $50.00 K&N underneath. I saw the car for sale on ebay after I sold it and it was gone, replaced with a taiwan cheapo chrome top and paper filter, my 6 month old fitted radiator hose was replaced with a flex hose. I figure the new owner must have taken it somewhere to get "checked out" and paid good money to replace good parts with inferior ones.
Surprised non of the other Hudson guys posted pics of their Twin H air cleaners. Mine are the later 55-56 Hash cleaners - only slightly miss-matched and still mostly straight.
