    were hosting one of genes famous workshops here at gambino kustoms and if any of you have been at any of his past work shops gene covers a hell of alot of material in the 2 days ! gene brings & shares 50 years of experience

    its 300.00 for the 2 days and were starting the sign ups call us at

    gas welding - hammer welding - leading

    FABRICATION OF
    compound curves and complex shapes by using the following equipment
    english wheel - sandbag - wood hammer forms - station bucks - sheetmetal break - bead roller - stakes - shrinker & stretcher

    OTHER TOPICS INCLUDE
    basic metalurgy - strategy for metal repair - hammer & dolly theory and technique - shrinking - hole filling - metal finishing

    were thinking about doing a chop friday night and sat night after the cl*** this aint 100% yet but a high posability so any one wanting to hang out is welcome to

    In order to get the A pillars to line up after the center section was cut out, the lower portion was heated and brought in...

    And the new profile (sort of, there was still some bracing and wheel-well that had to be cut out, so the top could come down all the way in the back)...

    What skill level is this workshop? I've been working on cars my whole life, bet never done any body modifications.

    you dont need any skill level he covers beginners to advanced levels , and even the advanced advanced guys will learn something

    I was at the 2010 cl***es and yes, it was awesome. Gene is a great guy and it is a good hands on, no BS type of deal. Alex and his crew are super hosts. I highly recommend it if you are thinking about it but not sure.

    Holy **** what a weekend. This man is truly a master of his craft. 84 years old, fighting a cold, and a busted wing and he out worked over 40 of us half his age!! Dude is a machine. Super down to earth, will talk to anyone about anything, and his skills are unbelievable.All in all a totally kick *** weekend and I would do it all over again. If you ever have the chance, beg borrow or steal to get your *** to one of Gene's cl***es!! Here's some ****ty cell pics I took:

    I signed up, can't wait. I should be in San Jose by 11am Friday, should I just head straight over to the shop for the day even though the cl*** doesn't start til Saturday? It's not like I would have anything else better to do
