nailhead knucklehead intro

Hi,
Are there any old time rodders on here? if you were a dragracer in the 50's-70's would there be much likelyhood of you sittin around reading this? Thats what I'm hoping for. I am a complete newb not only that but i don't even know anyone else who has a hotrod or even a cool car. I've collected enough rust to almost ***emble a 28 ford roadster and I've got a '54 buick 322 4 barrel eng. someone who might have some info on how to build it would be helpful thanks - cheers

Interesting that I would see you at my introduction.
I have had a '36 Plymouth coupe in which I installed a 401 nailhead back in 1965. I used a 6 bolt Buick 3-speed with a top shift so, perhaps I can swap
some stories with you.

 

Welcome from Alabama.. As far as any old racers/hot rodders from the 50/60s it would number in the many hundreds. resub you question and I am sure you will have all your questions answered. really its a good bunch here..
