Sorry for the late notice but for those in the Inland Empire / Orange County area's , my old high school autobody shop teacher is organizing the 2nd annual "Day of the Dead" car show. All proceeds to benefit the Rubidoux High School "Route 66" Scholarship fund. Car show is this Saturday November 3rd , 2012 at Glen Avon Heritage Park - 7701 Mission Blvd. Riverside, Ca. 92509. Park is located near Pyrite & the 60 Freeway. Should be over 200 Pre 1972 Hot Rods, Customs, Classics,Muscle Cars, and lots of car clubs. Over 35 vendors, special vintage travel trailer display brought to us by Canned Hams of Riverside. Race Car display, Great food (breakfast & lunch) . Lots of pinstripers doing their thing. DJ's - Celeste, Vince, & I will be playing 50's & 60's stuff all day. Live instrumental music by "LOS APACHE'S" - at 12 Noon. Over a dozen custom made trophies built by legendary striper/painter "Wild Bill" - handed out at 2:00 p.m. Car show starts at 8:00 a.m. - and goes on til 3:00 p.m. $10.00 - Car & Driver. $5.00 Walk-In's Thanks and have a great weekend, Herb Weber, Rubidoux High students, & Axle.
Oh man! We took our 59 Fleetwood and our 61 hearse to this event, last year, and it was a blast!! Planning on going this year, too All proceeds go to a good cause and the cars there were amazing! A winning combination! Let's go! Bob
This is a GREAT show for a GREAT cause! Alot of nice cars and bikes last year, should be even better this year. See ya there! Oh yea, really nice park too!
