Please be on the lookout...no connection, just spreading the word. From http://www.stevesnovasite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209262 : Craigslist stolen posting: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/3380311397.html
That ****s!!! Thats the bumper & grill from my wagon. The last time a local Nova guys car got stolen. We found it on CL & made a sting of our own, just for SF police to seize the car & auction it off. Hope she gets her car back.
Frickin S***bags ! Ill keep an eye out for it in San Jo. and Hopefully you guys find the basterds and hang em!
I'm keep a look out over here in Berkeley and around. Should be easy to spot if it gets near me. Hope to hell it isn't getting some 24's put on it right now.
This stealing cars shiat is getting a bit out of hand. Can we go back to hanging them like they did with horse thieves?
on CBS13 TV News in Sacramento, CA just did a report on several stolen cl***ic cars recently. Most were stolen during the day at college school campuses. most recent was a teal '65 Mustang notch back with black/chrome wheels. nothing fancy, just a nice driver. nothing is safe anywhere. don't think that it can't happen to your ride.
So much for the Club and alarm systems ! The guys who steal these things are ruthless and fearless, evidently. Hope they find it soon. Don
I p***ed this on to the Police Agencies here in the Solano County (Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville) area. This can be a haven for those kind of chop shop operators. Normbc9
Hey, really bad news for Kim to have her car ripped off like that. I'm surprised that a less popular mainstream collector car like a Chevy II / Nova would be the target of car theives. I hope it is found safe and sound and soon. Good luck to Kim.
Will keep an eye out in Bay Area. Sure hope she finds it. Geez how many 65 Novas are there? 3 or 4? Car Theft is treated the same as Horse Theft, isnt it?
not in Oakland. they are too busy with murder and mayhem to worry about car thefts where nobody got shot.
Just an idea.... door closes, doors all lock. You have 6 seconds to press the hidden switch and de-activate the gas canister. Canister discharges... death looks like a natural heart attack... Gas dissipates, leaving no evidence of cause of death. Good luck, hope it comes back OK.
