Been there many times, and will be tomorrow, with a lot of useless junk-er, highly valuable vintage automobile parts and accessories  Usually a pretty good meet, especially if you're looking for used race stuff.
Trying to get one of my '40 Ford pickups ready to bring, might not make it and just bring my little trailer of goodies

And you expected what? It is at a dragstrip after all LOL- HOT rods, not street rods. Absolutely NO "Thumper" (AKA Poser) cams. No rat rods. No phony blowers. No fake "gassers". I did find a decent set of headlight rings for my '40 Ford pickup, complete with the parking light lenses, for $40. Also a couple sets of K-Motion 1000 solid roller valve springs for $40 each, and a NIB set of Flowmaster race 2-1/2" to 4"collector/mufflers for $40, and a NIB set of forged TRW 390+.030 pistons with Sealed Power rings for $40. BTW, seller's admission price was- you know :p

So I'm on my way to the swap meet, croozin' up Hwy 50 around Watt Ave close to Bradshaw, and traffic is swerving in front of me- I look ahead and see a bunch of large brightly colored objects across the #3 lane- get closer and see it's 4 beat-up kayaks. Sure enough, a few hundred yards ahead is a mini-SUV pulled into the median, young kid with his hat on backwards on his cell, and his tall hottie GF is screaming and waving her arms at him  So this poor kid now has 4 trashed kayaks, probably a few dents in the SUV, and has to call the CHP to tell them he's just created a traffic hazard on a very busy highway, but his GF has to rant at him because he's not suffering QUITE enough to suit her :(
Of course, SHE would have tied them down perfectly
And people ask why I'm not married LOL :p

When they can't figure out which way the bill of a cap goes, strapping down kayaks must seem like rocket science. But you did say his GF was hot.
