my list consists of a total rebuild of the car BOTH my father and i drove to high school.... it has sat too long. i have a pile of stuff collected and the two of us are looking forward to doing it.
my wife has a list of "honey do's" of house restoration projects that would send the crew of "this old house" screaming off into the night.
    wish me luck!

I feel your pain on those honey do's. I might could get a project finished if I could finish the widest list.

  4. I got a few myself:

    Rebuild rear suspension

install split exhaust manifold and build exhaust

    install 3spd overdrive trans

    recover seats

    do some minor body work.

Now I just need to stop driving it so I can start the work!!

63 Chevy C10 has a few issues to work out.
Change the throttle linkage so I can get full throttle.
Install the stereo system that in the last minute thrash to get the truck on the road this summer did not get done.
Recover the seat in something more era appropriate instead of the black & gray cloth that looks like it belongs in a 1983 C10.
    Replace the wood box floor.

There is just one big item on my list...

#1: Get the Mercury out of my garage and into the painters.

Of course, there is alot to do to get it there. But with the 2nd big snow fall of the season this morning, I don't have to worry about taking the '51 F-1 out any more.

rewire complete truck with Rebelwire system I got over the summer
rebuild power steering rack (more likley have it rebuilt)
Pull motor, smooth firewall on truck, paint firewall and inner fenders.
    install new motor
paint interior of truck and get seat recovered

pretty ambitious list on my end, but hopefully with my new job schedule ill have the time and the $ to pull it off.

I want to get the replacement trans. freshened up and ready to install, rebuild one of 2 engines (not sure which engine I'm going to run, yet), repair the dash and floorpans, and redo the front suspension.

Drive Drive Drive! It's winter time dudes, I can finally go out side again! It is a whole lot more pleasant in the shop though when it's under 125 or so!
