by Tom McPherson I picked this one up at an antique store, kinda cool. I can have it the front seat when I power-park at the fairgrounds Full of helpful chapters, like: Backyard customizing How to be Chicken and Popular The real Rail job and more... Plus: "Dragging Jargon" Funny stuff
I have the later version of that titled Dragging, Driving, and Basic Customizing I'll take a pic and post it later. What did you pay for it? What is the copyright year?
I have one!! I found it in an old box of books and mags(including little pages!!). They were my uncle and fathers when they were teenagers!! Such a cool little book. Mine has the same cover but I am not sure of the year. My uncle graduated in '67 so it is very possibly the same edition!
I've got the one I bought in sixth grade, a big part of what originally got me interested in going fast, although the times I've actually managed to do that in the intervening 40+ years have been sporadic !
Kool little book.........picked a copy up back in 89......loved that chapter 7, "How to be Chicken and Popular" !!
Draggin Jargon - "... blame it on the Johnson rod." Hell, that's how I got two kids!!!! ( I couldn't resist that one and NO I'm not sorry!)
