Hi, my name's Wally and I'm a motorhead. Been lurking for a while, never posted. Wore out an Old Crow Speed Shop t-shirt and well on the way to wearing out an Old Crow Racing shirt. No relation to those guys, my last name happens to be Crow and I've had the screen name for years. I own a small restoration and hot rod shop in the Ozarks north of Little Rock, AR about 100 miles. My personal preferences run to Harley's and old trucks, but I'll build anything pre-'79 in my shop. Been really thinking rat rod lately, but I need to finish my '61 F100 first. Current customer projects are a '57 Bel Aire, a '70 Road Runner, a couple of '60's Mustangs, a '66 Impala, a '69 Firebird, a '71 GMC Sprint and a '58 Chev stepside. All are restorations or mild customs, nothing radical at the moment, supposed to go look at a '51 Ford F1 who's owner wants to keep the flathead. I bet the questions will flow then. Be gentle guys.
I'm here in Arizona,,used to help Bobby and the crew with the "Old Crow" belly tanker, and kind of got the moniker of Grandpa Crow. My last name is also Crow,,,,,,we related ??? My people come from the Montana area tribes ! Small world department !
Welcome, as you know your in the perfect location,, the hills between Little Rock and the Missouri line, "there's gold in them tha hills",, and its not yellow, its rusty. I have drivin those backroads on the way to Southwest Mo. from my current home in Fl. I always arrive with a sore "whiplash" neck. Hopefully "the crushers" are banned from the area.
The Crow side of my family are Yankees from the Ill/Mo area, Grandpa, so I'd say we're not really related except by name. Bobby, I collect the whisky advertising stuff, thus the use of the name. Grumpy, Modyno...you guys get up in my area drop by and say "howdy". www.vincesvintage.net Kennkat, small world, my parents lived in Sonora until they p***ed away a few years back. Thanks for the welcome, guys.
