Pardon me if this has been mentioned before, if not, here it is:

Isn't this our very own Skratch, displayed in this Swedish Car magazine?

Heck, that guys been world famous for years.

I think he tours Japan on a regular basis and is also a TV star right here in the USA.

He was a leader in the F*** Von Dutch movement.

That guy is gonna be on the E channel soon with one of those true hollywood stories. :D

Oh yeah, and he does lay some good lines on cars too.

Yeah he did my "A" g***er 5 years ago and I sold it to a guy who repainted it. It would be worth a fortune now.

Isn't that the same as the 1st HAMB calender cover? I'm almost positive it's the same car.

Speedaddict I don't know where I've been but I don't think I've seen your car since it turned blue.

    Looks good.

I actually work for Skratch and have been for almost 6 months. i wouldnt say that car would have been worth a fortune but it definitly made it way more valueable then it was. Some say to have stripes on your car from him is like a status symbol... some say.

I have to say I think it's more of an honor than a status symbol. Scratch is an amazing artist, gear-head, and as down-to-earth a guy as you'll ever meet. He also seems to work his *** off, so it's great to see him get some ink. Man, I really dig his style of striping.

Here's a pic of the lines he layed on the '53's tailgate. I asked if he had ever done something similar to "Harvey Shaken from Crossbreeding", and he said that he hadn't but was willing to give it a try. My only regret was restricting his creativity with the request, as opposed to just turning him loose on the tailgate. Live and learn, but I do think his version of Harvey is cool as hell.

.............he's one of MY heros! The article in R&C on him by Rick "Short Bus" Amado, "So you want to be a Pinhead?", is what finally motivated my *** to try striping. I'm no good, but some of that is because I'm lazy. I have had a lot of fun learning..............
