Ok, well it was pushed out of storage to sit in the cold about 2 years ago but
the '29 Tudor is still in fairly mice original shape.

-Vertually no rust but has the usual cracked/welded fenders.
Bullet holes in the windshield have had bolts put thru them (at least the ones that don't interfere with the wiper anyway).

The banger is sealed in that the spark plugs, oil filler and carb are all intact.
The best part is It turns over by hand!

This should be a runner and if I can make it run I will be cruising this summer in it when I'm not touring in the Mercury.

....Now other than the red wheels and strip (not a fan), It's destined to stay untouched/original.
Immediate plans are for a newer, shinier rad shell and or cleaned up chrome bits
along with side window repair. (Windshield? still up in the air as to keep it or not)

Plans are to have it running for spring.
It will have to sit in the driveway (-20 temps coming soon) until spring and I will only get to progress on it on the warmer days of winter.

This is my 3rd Model A and the 2nd one with a Banger.

I gotta say, I love A's, especially the untouched ones! :D

I'm hoping for the best that's for sure..
-It was driven and insured up into the 50's and then started and run every so often after that.

But I guess the proof will be in the pudding when she comes home on Thursday.

That windshield is to the point of being dangerous and deserves new gl***. Otherwise, I love the plan for it and look forward to updates.

  6. I know that there are barn finds because I have a barn and if you went in it you would find a '37 Coupe parked next to a '38 Sedan.

Nice old tudor by the way.

Nice find ... The generator is a '28 powerhouse and I think the dipstick looks to be '28 as well. Its been a long time since I've owed an A so I'm not sure on the dipstick but the generator is a '28 powerhouse.

I particularly like the "dealer installed" steering column support bracketry.

Nice score, and I like your plans. Might I suggest a "straw" color for the body molding accent stripe and the wheels?

Bullet holes in the windsheild look cool. Wonder if there was an unlucky driver behind the wheel....
