History Looking for any info/history on this Cadillac 331 Motor? Old show Roadster?

I just got this 1954 Cadillac 331 motor from my good friend Kevan Sledge and wanted to see if anyone had seen it before? Supposedly it was in an Hot Rod Roadster back in the day?? It has a wild looking homemade 4 carb intake, which was done very well and runs 4 SU carbs. Any info would be much appreciated!

Cool engine. I saw it on Craigslist in the Sacramento area a month or two ago. It sold before I could grab it.....darn
