Well, I'm in now! Pics of my new project!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 63CadGuy, Aug 21, 2005.

  1. Well I hauled home my $850 28'-29' Ford sedan project today! Left at 6:30 am and got home at 6:00 pm tonight, jeez I'm tired. Plans for this are chopping the top, Z the frame, dropped axle, maybe channel it and probably a small block chevy. But I have to get my '56 g***er project on the road before I start working on this one. I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions when I get started.

Fertilize it well and give it plenty of sunlight...I am sure it will grow and make you proud. Sounds like you have given it some thought already.

  13. Yeah, I'm pretty excited. But I might have to sell the Cad to get the '56 on the road and to start working on this one sooner, we'll see. Here's the requested g***er pic and Fiddy I will give you a call when I get to widdling wood for this beast. But now I have to start gathering parts, can't wait for the next swap meet.

  16. No problem rusty1.

I know what your saying Fiddy on the Cad, I'll miss it if it goes, but I got four cars now and every single one of them needs something and it's starting to drive me nuts. I've got "cl***ic car ADD", start on one, get bored or see something else and buy it, work on it awhile, get bored, see something else and buy it. I got to get a couple of these things done and the cash is getting a bit thin in the cl***ic car restoration account. I'd love to just hang on to them all and fix them when I get the cash, but I'm also real impatient and can't stand seeing these cars done in my head and then having them just sit there, undrivable, HELP!!! :)

Wow! whatta steal! What is it with the Wisconsin/Minnisota area? I see A's coming out of there all the time! Well, if you find any more... dont' forget about a brutha! :)
    Congrats!

  20. This guy buys from all over and claims to have access to over 600 model A's and T's. He said he found a Model A farm down in Kansas with hundreds of Model A's sitting out in the field. Don't know what the whole story is on that, whether he bought this guy out or is buying stuff from this guy. I don't know if you can believe the guy or not, but that's what he told me.
