Wizzy's merc has always been a favourite car of mine, last time i seen it was at the all american day at flemington racecourse, the paint was quite tired.
I havent got much to contribute, but here are the ones local to me.
Colins 51 Merc, was built further up australia, since he took ownership he has fitted the Chevy grille, and his own pinstirping.

This next one, i have been very lucky to be able to follow most of the progess. It started out as an Australian delivered (south african) right hand drive four door, very badly rusted...as in quite a few inches of the bottom not there :|

This car is also featured in next years HAMB calender.

This last one was built to basicaly be a modern car under a merc. It gets driven a lot around melbourne, not just to events but as a daily driver. Its got all the modern luxuries like sat. nav etc. It was built at the same place as the bare metal merc.
