Where to locate new speedo cables for a fordomatic in my 1960 f100 and 56 ford sedan

I have searched quite a few places and cant seem to find the correct complete cables for my vehicles. The ones I find are except my year and fordomtic. The truck is a fluid cooled fordo and the 56 mainline is an air cooled fordo.

Locally, I use our Stewart Warner/ Alemite dealer. [check the phone book/computer] They have a complete line of already-made cables and can whip up a custom cable on site.

 

a quick Google search brought this up. The trans end is the problem but my 56 3spd OD uses the same trans end so I'm pretty sure there is only one cable for the 56 Ford. The gauge end is pretty much universal. This picture was stolen from an Ebay auction. Do a search on Ebay for a 56 Ford speedo cable.

I just dont want to buy the wrong one

 

Any catalog I look under it always skips the years I listed with fordomatic. I can't even compare with the old cables because I don't have them.

 

Still looking for the correct cable.
