Anybody plan on going to Mason's Hot Rod's open house in Spartanburg ,South Carolina this coming Saturday November 10. They ask you to bring a toy for admission. If you like Fords this is the place to see some of Jerry & Allen Masons cars, including a real Thunderbolt, several early Shelby GT 350's and a host of 57 Fords. With Jerry's ***ociation with Bud Moore and his racing roots,,the Masons usually have some retired nascar drivers stop by. These photo's are from last year. They have a good bit of FE series 427 stuuf, some SOHC 437 stuff and lots of neat old Fords. I could amost find myself leaving my 32 3W and driving this 57 Ford home ... even swap
We will be there. It's always a really good show, and the toys go to a good cause. Also, buy a Mason's T-shirt, I designed them this year!
The weather forecast is NICE !! High to be in the mid 70's and no rain. I have been @ Masons get together and about to freeze ... with the wind blowing @ 10 to 15 MPH
Bump for the Saturday morning late-sleepers....sun is shining, frost is melting. All you can eat breakfast buffet at Golden Corral and the Junction......
Great weather, great cars & people, saw a bunch of Hambers and regrettably I left my camera at home. David Pearson and Gene Cromer were there.
