Tim, after you run 155 could you be a little more explicit about the "pin hole" repairs that were repaired by spit and chewing gum.

Run fast and be safe and get back to describing the repairs when you get back.

  3. Everything went well at El Mirage this weekend, although it was very COLD! Truck ran great but just couldn't hook up at the top end. Still ran a best of 142.5 mph, one mile faster than last month. Tried some different things today that didn't work out, I think I leaned the carb. a bit to much and I know now that "short shifting" is not going to work for me. All in all we had a good time! Fun with friends is always best.

Made aother run of 142.2 that felt like it could have been a bit faster if not for loose dirt at the end of the course. We'll get our ducks in a row for next May.

Great Video and great pics Tim ............

  14. Don, I run it up all the way to 7k, tried short shifting once to see if it would pull on up but that was a bad idea. Only got 5500 in fourth and 133 mph. Wont do that again, it's gotta come in as high as possable in fourth. ;)

  15. Got a little press down under! :D Thank you to Geoff (HotRodDude) for sending the mag all the way to my door. ;)

Does this mean I am now part of Tim's Entourage???
Am I now the Oreo supplier???

And as for getting a copy, you can check with Autobook/Aerobooks in Burbank CA, they are great people and will gladly ship, even to the Black Hills of South Dakota!
