New Member A little about me.. I started working on car when I was nine; I sorted bolts at a custom car shop in California, and never got it out of my blood. My first car was a rat rod VW with a 3in chop and open wheels, then a little fun with a VW rabbit running on vegetable oil. From there it was one after another, 65 Mustang, 69Camaro, 51 International truck, 72 dodge station wagon drag car. then life stated to hit hard, with the sale of my last project 1967 V8 VW bug (GM Toronado put in the back seat). Life was sad and I longed for those day. But time has come full circle, it is now time to bring back the fun of these old hot rods so, now I am an auto shop teaching, teaching auto repair during the day and then teach the next generation how to build and restore these cl***ic cars at night. The projects the students are working on 1. 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook 2. 1967 MGB GT 3. ? Have not found one yet Plymouth Cranbrook, The plan is to chop it about 4in in the back and about 7 in the front, switching it to a two door and keeping the straight 6 but bolting it up to an A904 so that Im not burning clutches in parades. Yesterday was the first day on the car; strip all the door clean and pulled al the chrome off, there is a lot of work ahead of the team. MGB GT, the plan drop a 351W into the car and ford rear end, the kid want to do a James Bond thing with fake guns in the front fenders that pop up. The rest is still on the drawing board.. The next project has yet to come to light, any ideas would be nice. Thank you Adam Arndt
