Finally figured out how to post pictures and now it says unable to upload pictures because I'm missing a security token. What is a security token?
Here´s a link to a resizerprogram free download that you can use http://fast-image-resizer.en.softonic.com/
Hello, I am the director of the state-owned Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. I can sell you a security token. Send me $100 via western union.
Yeah...That will open the photo in MS Paint then go to the top of the page and select Image and Stretch/Skew and when the dialog box opens just put in both the horizontal and vertical percentage and the click save or if you want to keep both the original and the re sized version click save-as and enter a new name for the photo and you will then have both the old and re sized photos.
Gary I have this one Once you’ve downloaded this on you computer all you have to do is right click any photo (on your computer) and the option to resize is right there …. small - med - large. Added benefit is if your putting photos on an online album make um small first then more will fit = cost less per year. http://microsoft-powertoys-image-resizer.en.softonic.com/

speaking of pictures, as i too am dysfunctional with some of this stuff, can you post pictures directly from your smart phone? i have the jalopy journal app on my phone and was wondering if i could post pic's directly thru that, or do i still need to use photo bucket or the like?
Photobucket is by far the easiest and most user friendly sites,,it re sizes your photos,,if I can do it anyone can. HRP
Yes you can post pictures from a smart phone. I use only my phone for internet. I toggle between screens for hamb and photobucket
Howdy Gary, don't feel like the lone ranger when it comes to computer issues. Just need a high schol kid to show you the ropes. This generation is way ahead of ours with these marvy machines. I am very excited about Jim Johnsons 34 Ford project coming to you. Jim is a deserving person who has worked his fanny off to make one of the nicest music venues and a place for all of us to have a great time. As well as his other across the street bar/food adventures. Hope you post some pix of his project when you get this picture issue learned. Rock on pal. ~sololobo~
High School kid,,that's a good one,,my 4 year old granddaughter amazes me with her use of a computer,,Gary, problem with most of us is we are learning all this late in life,, Remember the old adage,,"It's hard to teach a old dog a new trick" HRP
you got me on this right up to the oint in the dirrections where it said "fix any errors". Last time I tried to "fix any errors" on my computer it was in a shop for a month. What am I looking for before I start to make a mess?
When I right click on a photo stored on my computer I get lotsa options but not anything I recognize as help in resizing. Any more input?
that's kinda what I was getting at too. 296 V8 had posted a link to a magic resizing program on the previous page, but when I went to load it I got a helpfull directions prompt that mentioned "fix any problems"... Scares me silly!
Problem is if he ever drops his photobucket account the pics will disappear. Especially with "how to" threads that becomes a problem in the future.
I've just been loading them from my desktop on my apple, but they are small and you need to click on them to enlarge, (using the manage attachments ****on here, as in below pic) but I've noticed most people do it a different way?
