Sandy victim - family of 4 in need of a car

I am a resident of Staten Island, over the past 2 weeks I have been helping a very hard hit neighborhood near me called Ocean Breeze. Last night, as I was delivering flash lights, my new friend Bob, asked me if I could post something to help them get a car, because they lost both of theirs.
The request is: Mini van type, budget $700 - $1000 and running.

Shoot I just sold a nice Blazer for 900. I will keep my eyes and ears open for them.

 

I have a '91 Suburban I can't get $700 for. It needs a front brake line and the tires are on the old side but good tread. Runs and lot drives just as it sits. Not all that far away either. I used to drive it all over the place until I bought a van.
