Hi everyone. I'm on the garagejournal and every now and again get over here to check stuff out. I'm in the process of building a garage and have some complicated roof panels. Wanted to see what you guys have for shrinker / stretchers. I bought a woodward fab bead roller and bought some tipping dies from Hoosier. I also had Hoosier make some flat dies to hopefully to some stretching in the bead roller as shown by Lazze.... not sure if it will work yet or not. The roof panels that I'm working on are 24 guage prepainted steel.... Once the garage is done, I hope to get a project going....
Welcome from northern VA.... I see lots of good old Detroit iron on sale in the York area. I have the basic Eastwood shrinker/stretcher combo set. Works well for the little amount of stuff I use it for. I imagine it would wreak havoc on the paint finish.
