Torque tube replacement

    Pulling body off my 47 tudor.and I have a ? I haven't seen.When replacing torque tube? I have seen the pics of rear at punkin.,but what do these torq t
    look like at trans,I know there is a drive shaft inside.Main reason is I would like to put 4 link and have bags on rear so will not be a problem at diff but what about at trans and some type of slip joint for removal?
    This has probably been shown or explained many times but I can't find it. and I've been looking for days and my eyes are crossed.
    this is my first and I have lotsa ?s

    You will need a 42-47 F1 truck box or at least transmission main shaft and rear bearing retainer / trans mount to convert to open drive line. Hot Rod Works or Speedway offer rear end conversion kits.
