First of all, if you thought about going but decided not to go.....you are nuts. You missed a great time. If you are thinking about going next year, DO IT! My dad and I rolled into the Hotel parking lot at about 1:30 Saturday. It was indescribable. Actually seeing all these *****in cars in person that ive seen for 3 years on the internet. Wow. We hung out at the hotel for a couple hours then My dad and I followed Sodbuster aka Chris to the strip. (very cool guy by the way!) We got to the strip and registered and this and that. Choprods and Scarliner so graciously let me park next to their amazing machines. Then Sodbuster and Speed King parked there and it would have been the coolest damn picture ever but it was too dark by the time i realized how neat they looked park. If you have that pic, post it! The cars that were there were awe-inspiring. Everything was *****in and the people were cooler than you can imagine. I met so many awesome people. I am disapointed i didnt get to meet everyone i wanted to though (Metalshapes, Roothawg, El Polacko, Rashy, etc...) and also not getting to hang out with everyone more. Heres a pic of Four-Thirteen in the Gopher State Timing ***'n's front engine car. I made 4 runs in my car. Its so slow. haha. But that didnt really matter cus it was so fun. T-Man gave me a run down of what to do being as i have never been on a drag strip before. My reaction times were horrible and my ET's were slower than anyones probably. haha. My best was 17.12 My gears are 2.73's I am gonna put at least some 3.50s in there and i think that will help alot. Not to mention i dont think my slicks were hooking up at all. After the awards we headed back to the Ramada. I got to hang with Bubba Luv, Customscaraudio, and lil mike for a while. All those guys are cool as ****. Lil Mike has gotta be the coolest person ever and he knows it. "I am the fetish" hahaha Then i hung with the bad crowd, Plowby, Frizby, Triumph Terror, PLOWGIRL. A little while later some more people came over and Lil Mike entertained us all with his Tales of rock stardom. At about 4 Plowboi and Frizby went in so they could go make out. So it was up to me and Greezy to keep T-man, FlamedAbone, and Black Merc calm. I have to say, if i saw FlamedAbone in a suit at the airport, I would swear on my life that he was a major league baseball player. He looks like he would be the outfeilder holding out for 120 million instead of 118. Hes a cool guy. I went in at 5 after 2 ***s got done giving rides in the parking lot. Got up around 9, ate breakfast and headed home. It was a blast. Thanks Ryan and Marcie and Carl at Mokan and everyone else who helped out. Ill be back next year with a faster car and an appe***e for rowdiness. Nick

Nick it sounds like you might be a little sweet on flamedabone if I do say so myself. Only fitting for a card toting member of the Illinois Gayrodzz ***n. Damn his car was fast! Nice pics although you made Lil Mike and I look drunk and we know that wouldn't happen. I hope he will now spell midget correctly since it is written on his shirt. The only time I got to see 3W-Larry was when he handed me a beer! At least our encounter was a positive one! ha ha ha The Blue Heroes rule almost as much as Blueboy magazine!

It was cool hangin' with you Nick Saturday nite, even though I usually don't talk to people born after Star Wars came out. I did notice that for a moment most of the guys that stayed up so late drove a BLUE hotrod...coincidence? Methinks not!
and I thought I was having a great time laying fibergl*** on the 27'. Im bummed I missed a great time....next year for sure...and Ill bring the A-coupe. Nick, I apoligize for haven to reach over and cover your ears everytime someone in the group started to talk about adult things.I promise it wont happen next year as you will be another year older and wiser and by then your dad will have had the talk about the birds and bees with ya...BAHHAHAHAH No,really Nick your more mature actin than my 41 year old *** and it was cool to hang with you and the rest of the Blue Boy crowd in the parkin lot.I am sure our paths will cross again probl at the HCP in oct. Sorry to all for not being more social but I was kinda busy either pushing the Ramrods Hambster or chasing it down the track. And Fatboy gets tired of walking up and down the pits! Whew! I'll be in better shape by next year. I'll have the coupe with me too!
