Exactly my thought also. There is no history known on these tires by the present owner. So how can he say there is a defect in the tire.

I agree, pick up the damn phone for a change. All this emailing and texting is turning us into a society of non verbal communicators. Everywhere I go I see people bent over their damn phones, texting and emailing, instead of just getting the other person on the other end and actually talking to them. I think the human race may evolve to no longer have voice boxes, just long fingers.

Like I said, this past Wednesday I dialed Coker, asked for a tech guy, a minute later had the answer I needed and was completely satisfied. That is what you should have done.

  5. And I'm going to say this again a different way. Email is not perfect. None of you know if Coker ever got those messages. To imply they ignored them is not fair. Yes the OP needed to call. Then post the outcome.

and or left sitting flat in that spot
your e mail may have been writen with a feeling that you want free tires as they reed it

Bite the bullet and buy (4) Diamondback WWW tires. These are major brand tires with the WW added by Diamondback. If one of your tires has separated already, I would be seriously concerned that you may have tires from a bad batch. Ever see what happens to the fender of a car when a tire fails at 60 mph. I had (3) of (4) separate the same way.

If you become an 'Alliance member', you can get a discount on your replacement tires that your going to need to buy.

Also, I agree with EVERYONE that someone hit something from the picture of your tire & rim. We had an OT car that my wife hit a pothole & it bent the rim like your picture & Pirelli did not send us new tires.

Oh yea, I can even see the line in the Whitewall where it hit a curb or pothole.

I have never had any dealings with the company in question, but one look at the picture tells you that both the wheel and tire have been hit hard. why should they even bother replying to something that is so obviously driver fault? Probably too busy for such an obvious time waster.

This one is closed at OP's request.

My opinion? Give Coker a call... They are great people to deal with. That said, I think it would be way too much to expect from Coker given the circumstances.

    Alienbaby17,

Regardless of your problem or issue we should have responded to your email. That fact that we didn’t is totally unacceptable. We try to respond to all emails in 1 business day or less. I will have a chat with the web guys about it.

As for your tire, it is hard to tell from a photo what caused the split. Could be half dozen things from a defect in materials, to impact damage from a pot hole. I would suggest you get the serial number off the tire and give me a call. While you didn’t buy them from us, it is still our product and we will work with you towards purchasing a replacement tire.

    Thanks,
