    All,

Does anybody know if my 1964 f100 speedemeter cable will fit/work with a c6 trans? I currently have a 69 c6 trans and have connected but my speedometer doesn't work. The cable was piniched a little so i dont know if that might be the problem. It use to work with the old trans which was not a c6 but also wasn't pinched.

If its not compatible what can I do to get it to work?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

As long as your old transmission was not a top loader it should be the same, disconnect the cable from the trans and flip the gear with your fingers and see if the needle moves. If it does every thing from there on up is ok and you might have a gear problem. If you need a new cable and housing just give me a length and we can make you up a new one.

Complete cable and housing (all steel vinyl covered) $28 to $35 depending on length.
