    Definitely WAS a roadster at some point. Someone went to great lengths to make a roadster look like a coupester, haha! Good luck in bringing her back, you've got some work ahead of you!

    Looks to me like you can save at least 1 square inch of the original metal, the rest you will be replacing. :D

    Pretty expensive one square inch of rusty tin :)

    I thought my roadster I just got was rough... But like you I would rather save another car and get it back on the road. Looks like this one is going to a good home. I look forward to the progress.

    i got some free rear pannels coming to me for this cut off of another 31 that got boat tailed
    alont with the trunk lid , might make a rumble seat for it.

  8. If it was just the body, I'd almost be embarassed to ask $50 for it, but with all the other parts you did good even if you throw half of that thing away.

    Stuff like this is why I keep things like a set of '58 DeSoto rotty quarters handy, I figure I can always combine them with a cowl to make some kind of show-rod style body with them.
