Any experiences or pics with a snap-on roadster top using a rollbar for structure?

So I'm thinking of building a snap on jeep-style top for my 26 t-roadster. instead of convertible bows, I was thinking of using a rollbar as the support of the peak with the edges anchoring to the rear deck and the windshield. That way when it isnt being used I can just wad it up in the trunk with no clunky accordion bows rattling when its down or PITA removal process.

Does anyone have any experience doing something like this?

Here is the thread for my roadster so you can see what I'm working with: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8372086

    "roadster bimini top"

    er...-bling, -flat black???

Maybe we need a HAMB Barn-finder app?

FAQ's: Owner sets on porch...says, "Git!"
when asked if he'd sell that rustpile.
