Tech Request?Slip Roll

Has anyone ever made a homemade slip roller? I have searched the net for good pics but cant seem to come up with anything.

I saw a guy roll some sheetmetal around his acetylene tank. It worked good, too.

 

There are a lot of good pict;s on the mytractor forum of a roller built by jdcrawler. it took me a while to find it again, I have some old farm equipment and rollers from an old news paper printing press, should have every thing i neet to build one

 

Check out the Gingery books. One of them is how to make a slip roll.

Just go to that auction site, or Amazon, and search for gingery. Add slip roll if you want to narrow the results.
